The Basics - Our commitments to you
|

|
You will be buying a used car from DealDrivers Ltd (if you buy from our own stock in Cirencester), or from a dealer retailer we connect you with if they have a vehicle you want in their own stock. UBuyCars.co.uk is a trading style of DealDrivers Ltd, used to differentiate our used car sales from the brand new cars we sell on our DealDrivers website. DealDrivers have been known since 2004 for new unregistered cars from main dealers. We have launched UBuyCars.co.uk to fulfil the demand for used/nearly new vehicles too... we offer a careful selection of fleet vehicles, used/nearly new, ex demo’s etc sourced from carefully chosen and trusted partners.
We do not operate in flash showrooms, adding £’s to each car price for large premises and sales staff needing to earn commissions. We operate from our DealDrivers Ltd registered offices and our own car stock is securely located a short distance away in secondary premises managed by us - enabling us to arrange for you to visit and view to suit you, by appointment. If a car is in our partnered dealer’s stock elsewhere in the UK we’ll arrange to put them in touch with you to arrange a viewing directly with themselves.
You aren’t buying ‘on the internet’ - you simply see the vehicles on our website and you can view them and complete the transaction at our own offices in person if you wish, or with the dealer holding the stock.
We give you a full and frank vehicle description, plenty of photo’s and a way to reserve our own stock for 2 days until you can view it too, if you wish, with a fully refundable deposit.
A range of extra services on our own stock includes extended warranties, a 1yr servicing and repair discount scheme for thousands of UK approved sites, servicing packages, pre handover servicing if you require it, finance quotes, and a part ex’ service if we think we can help you with your own old car.
UBuyCars.co.uk is headed by Ken Hogan, with over 26 years motor trade experience in sales and aftersales/servicing. Ken is exceptionally helpful and will do all he can to make your experience a really great one. Ken can also arrange for you to test drive vehicles (min age 21).

How safe is my purchase?
|

All of our own stock held on our premises is HPI checked, and mechanically inspected by our on-site servicing partner. See details of our 70 Point Car Check here (click!)
Any online transaction with us is protected by a major UK banks’s transaction service...we don’t even see your card details unless you choose to pay over the telephone and give us your card details verbally (they are securely destroyed as soon as we have finished with them). All of our own stock vehicles come with standard 30 day used car warranty, and you can choose to take an extended warranty too if you wish.

Who are we?

|
|
DealDrivers Ltd is headed by Jo Eveleigh, our Managing Director. Jo is the 4th generation of her family to be in the trade (her great grandfather is to blame for starting it all off in the in the twenties!). Jo has worked for large leasing companies and car manufacturers, before setting up DealDrivers in 2004.
We have Ken Hogan, 26yrs in the trade, again for leasing companies and car dealerships, plus Ian Saunders with 20 years in the trade as a qualified mechanic, later moving on to aftersales negotiations for leasing with leasing companies, and Anson Lewis, with over 9 years in car purchasing - having come from a senior role leading a team of car buyers for a large contract hire and leasing company.

How do I pay?
|
|
|
|
If you are buying one of our own stock vehicles then you can pay us by bank transfer, debit card, or credit card (please note that as credit cards attract fees, we will need to apply a 2.5% fee to cover those costs for your credit card processing with your provider - but debit cards are usually fee-free).
If you buy a car sitting with one of our partners in their stock, then you can arrange direct payment to them, not with us.
If you are arranging finance, we will advise you in your own case what the process will be depending on the funder and funding option taken.

How do I get my viewing deposit back?
|
|
|
|
If you decide not to buy one of our own stock cars when you’ve paid a reserve viewing deposit, we will refund your card within 5 working days.
|
|
|
Will I be able to drive the car away when I view it, if I buy it?
|
|
|
|
|
if the car is in stock at one of our partnered dealers, they will advise you in each instance how quickly they can make it ready for you. For our own stock, we will need to be able to tax it for you, and ensure we have been able to receive full funds from you. If it is a weekday (pre 3pm) we will be able to get it taxed (our town centre offices where we will do the paperwork with you are 60 seconds walk from a main post office!), but if you view at a weekend we may need to wait until the Monday when we can get it taxed for you. We can offer you driveaway insurance which we can help you arrange via our partners HPI over the telephone.

We will make relevant arrangements with you for a handover depending on your date/timing requirements and then take you straight back to your car at our secure unit - all very easy, friendly and efficient, and no hassle for you, or needing to pay to park in Cirencester town centre - we’ll look after you from the moment you arrive!

If you want to use the time to do a bit of shopping in Cirencester’s fabulous shops, we’ll be happy to take you back to your car later when you are ready!
