We are proud to present for sale in pristine condition this fully restored 1962 Jaguar E Type 3.8L Open Two Seater (LHD). Currently sitting with just over 1,000 miles following an extensive restoration which commenced in 2014 when the car was purchased from California. Prior to this the car had been in long term storage by the previous owner of 20 years! The 3.8l engine runs on the button and has been perfectly calibrated. The car has all original matching body/engine and chassis plate numbers making it a rarity. Over 1300 hours were spent on the nut and bolt restoration and the car has been re-built to original specification. The paint and trim colours are Opalescent Golden Sand and Light Tan respectively. The bodywork was subjected to a bare metal respray by Brookfield Classics, one of the leading Jaguar E Type paint specialists. The leather and interior trim along with the hood was completed by GB Classic Trim, who are noted for their high end work including Jaguar Factory Museum Cars. Custom seats have been fitted giving more legroom however the original seats (also trimmed to match) are available with the car. 2 Keys, All docs present, Professionally detailed and ready to drive away.
