2. Information we use
We use account details; dealer profile, team and website-import details; personal-advert information, photos, seller contact details and postcode; and enquiry details including name, email, telephone number and message. We use an entered postcode to calculate approximate distance. A personal seller’s exact address is never shown publicly.
3. Why we use it
We use information to provide accounts, listings, website imports and enquiries; secure the service; prevent misuse; provide support; meet legal obligations; and improve DealerStock. Our lawful bases are contract, legitimate interests, consent for optional analytics, and legal obligations where applicable.
4. Sharing and retention
We use Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, and essential hosting, email and postcode-lookup providers. Listing and contact information may be shown to visitors or supplied to the relevant seller or dealer through an enquiry. We keep information while an account or advert is active and afterwards only as reasonably needed for support, fraud prevention, disputes or legal obligations. Personal adverts expire after 30 days unless removed sooner.
5. Your rights
Under UK data-protection law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to our use of your information. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time. Contact support@dealerstock.co.uk; you may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Choose whether DealerStock may count anonymous page views across the public site.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the service develops. The current version is always published on this page.
